About me…
I am a part-time self-taught artist and photographer living in Mono, Ontario.
I paint with oils and watercolours, both of which are my favourite mediums. I just can’t paint with one medium for ever. I paint with oils for a while, then I start longing for the watercolours. Then I rejoice in watercolours for a while, and start longing for oils, and it’s a never-ending ebb and flow of two opposing cravings. Both of these mediums are dear to me, and both are absolutely fascinating to me!
In photography, I love taking macro snaps of florals and small creatures! I use a full frame Canon camera and a macro lens to capture close-ups of flowers and their pollinators, and you can often see me in places like the Mono Pollinator Garden where I chase bumblebees and hummingbird moths.
My full time job is as a Senior Project Manager in the field of Information Security.
Aside from creating art and photography, my other hobbies include gardening, motorcycling and mushroom foraging. I own a Harley Davidson Fat Boy motorcycle and you can often see me on the wavy roads of Hockley, Mono, Creemore, Beaver Valley and other places.

On My Easel
My new gig is a newly started series of local landmarks and focal points painted in oils, and my first freshly completed work depicts a historic telephone booth in the Mono Center near the Mono Cliffs Park. It’s so picturesque in the fall when the vines of virginia creeper turn red, creating a bright garland that, together with the red telephone booth, create a beautifully balanced sight.
